Sharge uk was formed in 2012 after many years of trying to clean our layout, from a stool reaching over everything and knocking chimneys off etc. We’ve been interested in operating our model at home and latterly being involved with DCC operations. Understanding the need for an enhanced track cleaning device which is both practical and user friendly the first 00 gauge prototype was tested and eventually designed and built. We launched at the Kendal Show in 2013, where we tested the water, with great results. We experienced a lot of interest and sold a few over the two day period. That gave us the incentive to take it to other shows and started to spread the the word about our product. After many trade shows and selective advertising, the Sharge uk track cleaner is used by many satisfied modellers in the United Kingdom, Europe and even as far as Australia!
